Brian Birney is a proud husband and father of four awesome children. He is currently the President and Chief Marketing Officer at The Birney Directive. He is also proud to be a Marine Corps Veteran and served during Operation Enduring Freedom, during which he was recognized as Marine of the Quarter. Brian has served in numerous roles during his career including Marketing Director-Detroit Media Partnership, Race Director-Detroit Free Press/Talmer Bank Marathon, Marketing and Communications Director-Crittenton Hospital Medical Center and Chief Marketing and Operations Officer at Women’s Excellence.
Brian is on his second, consecutive term as the President of the Board of the Directors for the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce and the President and Founder of Lake Orion’s American Summer.
He is a proud graduate of Brother Rice High School and Ferris State University,proposal ideas for college students where he earned a B.S. in Public Relations and was President of his Fraternity – Sigma Phi Epsilon.
